cant seem to play football manager 2009

i dont know why but footie manager 2009 wont run, i have a top end computer and i install steam but when i click to launch it says preparing to launch and the nothing happens, any ideas guys please pleaseplease

How long do you wait for it to launch?

as soon as i click launch a window appears then disappears within a second and it wont play

Please someone help me... I had play a season with Sp. Braga (Prt) in 6th Jun 09, my game simply crashes without any visible problem. I'm using Win Vista and a legal game too. it simple send the message to crash dumps. how can I solve it? Sorry me my bad english...

Yes the window does appear then disappear,then it can take a couple of minutes for the game to come on.
nicas,Go to the top of the screen were it says search,type in crash dumps and you will see there are a few threads on this subject,maybe they can help you.

but is not in my task manager so it cant be running

Have you tried installing it via uniloc

Have you got the latest Microsoft .NET framework installed?

Then check for updates because I'm sure there were some not so long ago which may not be in that download.
