Can't sign players on fm14?

I have tried to sign 3 different players on FM14 but as soon as the transfer is confirmed and complete, it gets 'cancelled' and the player doesn't join the club. I have had plenty of funds to sign the players, and the fee that was agreed has been taken from my budget. I have lost about ?14M on players that have been confirmed as signed, then cancelled.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone know why this might be happening?
