Can't skip past news

What has happened is.... I have made the Faroese League using the Editor and have tried signing a player from NSI. Unfortunately he was signed by another club (IF) and I placed another offer, however the offer was then accepted by NSI and it tells me to offer a contract to the player but because my offer to IF still stands, it does not take me to a page to offer him a contract it says I have an offer withstanding with IF that has not been accepted and it will not let me go past the "Offer a contract" news article, any ideas? I have tried withdrawing the offer to IF and that has not worked

Go on holiday. That should skip past it.

Thanks, it worked I never use the go on holiday feature, so I didn't think of it
