Can't use assistant?

Hi. I have a problem. I am managing Southend United in League 1. Personally I hate having to do the opposition instructions so I get my assistant to do them. In other saves I have (Chelsea) I have been able to Ask Assistant for every game, but I've noticed that I can't ask my assistant every game while managing Southend.

My assistant is on a Full Time contract, so why is it that some games he can do all of that, and others he can't/won't?

I apologise if this is in the wrong forum, but I don't know where else to put it.

I had the same problem like. What you have to do is hire a new assintant manager with tactical knowledge of 15 or above once i did this i never had a problem. Hope this helps.
