Cardozo/Neymar - strikepartners

I play with shakhtar donetsk and have Cardozo and Neymar as Strike partners i a 4-3-1-2 formation with no wingers. I play with short passing thru the middle. What kind of roles should my strikers have?

Right now I am trying Cardozo as a complete forward, but I am afraid that his pace and acceleration makes him bad for this role. The other roles he might get is advanced forward, or deeplying forward - support or target man attack. But I am wondering if the target man is necessary for short passing? I play Neymar as a Poacher of course. What do you think?

Neymar for me was a great poacher in my Benfica save. His problem is that he fails too many goals.

that´s why i don´t like Neymar as a poacher. I used him as trquartista in ST spot and he performed great. I used him also as advanced forward and he did ok
 
I think Cardozo is too slow to be a poacher. He worked out perfectly for me as a Complete Forward
 
You guys see the dilemma right? Everyone mentions different things :) don't know which one to choose

Try all these roles that we mentioned and then you decide in which one your players do better.
 
Cardozo - Target man (play ball to feet)
Neymar - Poacher/Trequartista, depending on whether you play Cardozo in attack or support role.
 
Cardozo becomes too static as a TM, but as a poacher doesn't have enough speed, so as a Complete Forward i think he can perform better. Nonetheless i haven't tried him in other roles, so maybe he performs well as TM.

so if I play Neymar as a Poacher I play cardozo in a TM support role? And vise versa? Which do you recomend the most?

Indeed. Cardozo will come deep at times with Neymar making runs behind the defence. It depends on your team really, as you employ a short passing game though, use Neymar as a poacher and Cardozo as a support - target man. :)
 
Neymar - Poacher
Cardozo - Complete Forward

They were my forwards in my Benfica save, and in these roles they got me nearly 70 goals in the league
 
I have both of them on my current Benfica save.

I play Cardozo as a target man and Neymar as a poacher. Neymar got me 24 goals and Cardozo got me 20.

Cardozo as Complete Forward or Target Man

This will work!
