I'm just wondering if any of you have player(s) forced to retire because of injury he suffered in FM11 or older FMs.

fortunately, never happened to me so far

An old CM.

Man Utd GK James Jowsey, broken back on debut, out for 18 months.

First game back slipped disc out for 9 months.

After 8 months of that injury, he retired, aged 24. oO)

On CM03-04 I got Beckham back to Man Utd, after about a year he got a damaged spine and out for 10 months, got injured again when he came back and retired.

Wouldn't he be paralyzed if he had broke his back ?

Nope, only if you rupture your spinal chord would you be paralysed. My mate broke his back and made full recovery :)

There's a difference between your back and spine. The spine is the one to look out for, one damage to your spinal chord can leave you ****** forever.

None on FM as yet.

On an old Premier Manager game Arjen Robben retired because of a Broken Wrist oO)
