Have made my all my signings 7 freebies all with good experiance replacing 7 first team players of lower quality or unwanted in my squad. Made 1.5m and got very little back which i turned into my wage budget. will start tommorow with the europa cup qualifyers
 
would be better if my milne didnt take all my ****** money away into his bank account. Just shows how realistic FM is!

ok my game made a great start to the season, in europe anyway 4-1 aggragate win against zilina then an amazing 7-6 win over toulouse, 4-4 draw in the second leg in france. Drew 0-0 at home to celtic but lost 2-0 to hamilton being the only bad points to the year so far!!
 
4 goals from Miller - no bad. What kind of formation are you using? I've found Micheal Paton to be pretty decent at getting goals as the clock is ticking.
 
Good choice of team trying to topple the old firm stranglehold on the spl i shall definitely keep an eye on this story mate good luck should be a very good challenge :)
 
Right were at the start of October so heres how were doing

aberdeen 2-1 motherwell
viduka, miller
had a rubbish first half hour where we went 1-0 down but came back with a viduka right on half time and miller got a almost deservered 3 points and first win of the season

falkirk 1-1 aberdeen
miller
No excuses of a European hangover here just not quite enough, probably should have got a 2nd but an away points no failure

AEK 3-3 Aberdeen
Miller, Viduka, maguire
was a bit lucky to get the draw but it was like the falkirk game but this time we were lucky to get the point

aberdeen 5-2 st mirren
miller 2, namouchi 2, mulgrew
was 5-0 ahead but fell asleep for the last 10 minutes but cant complain about the win!

raith 1-3 aberdeen
maguire 2, pawlett
had a edgy spell in hte second half but our back up team had more than enough in the tank

rangers 1-2 aberdeen
superb performance well worth our win, god = lee miller

we gave them a good run for there money but forlans hatrick was the difference, as well as alot of talent

kilmarnock 6-2 aberdeen

well this came from nowhere but we were awful and were 5-1 down at half time at a total loss here.
after this result we are 5th in the leauge but are level on points with celtic and 6 ahead of rangers who have both made horrible starts.
 
Good Luck, I was thinking of starting a save with a scottish team (not celtic/rangers) and try and break the old firm at the top of the table.. Might do it in a while..good signings mate

again threw away a lead but this time it mattersas were now 8 points behind hibs at the top

was quite unlucky miller got his 12th of the tournament but we went down too two pens to consing us to bottom of the table :(

not good being 5-0 down after half a hour, were sinking without a trace in all fronts :(

despite raising £1.5m in the summer im still well over my wage budget and to get miller and mulgrew signed up to a new contract i've had to sell mcdonald, ifil, nelson, duff and foster to balance the books and 7 youth players who havent made the grade, also sold maguire for £1.5m to try and raise some funds to get some fresh faces in

Have to say overll im quite dissapointed to be outside the top 6 is a tragidy with hibs 11 points ahead of me at the top and celtic and rangers starting to kick on. Will need a man utd styled second half of the season. Wont be easy with shilla, aluko and namouchi away at the african nations but at least theres no distractions of europe so no excuses for poor performances now!
 
How is Fraser Fyvie in the game? Not really had a look for him.
 
he does a job in the under 19's but hasnt played much for me in the first team as he doesnt look that good, havent seen him do much in any of my other games, dont know if anyone else has seen him do anything

dear god never noticed that was my first win in 6, totally deserved the win, been a long time coming, one note vidukas out ijured for a few weeks so paton will be getting his chance in the team

well paton took his chance with both feet so vidukas carrear at pittodrie will be under threat if paton comes near this form again!

ok this was stupid first half hour with the under 19's and back up players and we were 3-0 up, then half time 3-3, then 5-4 at the end

couldnt complain about the result whatever happend due to the amount of youngsters in the squad but this was a gret performance, might try a more solid defence next time out

well this one was a poor performance but only two goals behind to a full strenght top 6 side isnt bad, cup final next!!!

well this was amazing told them the pressure was off and at half time we were 4-0 up but yay!!!

end of season review
WEll very dissapointed to finish in 6th after the poor start by everyone but hibs, our defence has to improve if were to go anywhere because it was awful this season. Miller was the one saving grace with 23 goals in the leauge and 44 in all compitions
 
And a new contract offer so im here till 2013 unless someone changes there mind
 
hello said person. well done in the cup final. signed 2 ex rangers players though which wouldnt have been popular with fans
 
They didnt seem to mind them sed person. I minded finishing in 6th. Expected a top 4 finish. Dont now if that will be achieveable this season paying 500k a month on loan debts till december so this will be a lean transfer window maybe put some of the youth out on loan to get there value up then try raising some cash for the january transfer window where hopefully we can do something in terms of getting to europe
 
Well done, quite interested in this as i just started my own Aberdeen game, got knocked out of the uefa cup by Everton 4-3 on aggregate.
 
Good story mate, only just had a look, stories in SPL don't really last, hope this does, keep em coming mate
 
ill try my best jack, was origionallywas going to do a jounreyman game trying to get to man utd long term but will be trying to take aberdee to the top, so could be here for a while

ok pre season review, Dont the same as last season and brought in voltz, pernia, Kanu, kingston and simon royce on free's gained 2.3m by selling clark who was breaking through and zenden who was unhappy for 500k each and somehow got 725k for rogvi holm, loaned out pawlett, jack and paton with views to future sales so hopfully the new players can bring a more solid season and pernia can bring some goals with his 20 for free kicks!!!
 
Quality signing, might be hard to decide whether to play Mulgrew or Pernia left back, Pernia will deffo romp the Scottish League though, good signing in Voltz he is solid and one of my favourite players who used to play for Fulham ;)
 
yeah im training mulgrew to play in a few other positions so will bring him off the bench to play in some games, pernia is to good for the bench!

well our defensive hasent improved from last year threw away a two goal lead we had at half time

a convinsing win that away goal hopfully wont hold us back too much when it comes to the second leg

superb result went 3-0 up early on and did very well in the second half to hold on for a 8-2 aggrigate win

Group stage draw
tricky group will have a chance to get into the top 2 but will need some luck to get there and have a chance of avoiding bottom spot
