Carlos Eduardo is a very bright effective midfielder. Blessed with great ball control and balance, is heavily involved in the game and has an eye for passing and shooting. He is a smart player who knows how to take advantage of the defenders mistakes. Besides that, Carlos Eduardo has two good feet, can play through the middle or out wide and is very hard to knock off the ball.

In 2009, he played the Campeonato Paulista for Ituano and in the second semester he moved to Fluminense. In Rio de Janeiro, he played 9 matches of the Campeonato Brasileiro and scored one goal. He also played two matches of the Copa Sudamericana, which Fluminense reached the final.

In 2010, Carlos Eduardo moved to Grêmio Prudente.In 2010 he played 20 matches of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
