Carrying Beta save onto disc question

So I understand you can carry your save on to the actual game when it's released this week. Now I'm guessing they'll do a final update before release (patching any bugs such as the CCC one). My question is will my beta save update to the fixes? Or will I have to start a new game? I'm guessing the latter. Sorry if this has been badly explained but you can see what I mean haha. Cheers guys.
 
There are numerous threads about this already.

But yes, you can continue the save after updates. Only changes to the database requires you start a new game.
