Caught offside.

Hi

Iam currently playing a 4-4-2 narrow diamond formation, and during the season i have noticed my team seems to get caught offside anywhere between 10-20 times a game. The tactic i employ seems to do pretty well, with not many defeats and a few goalless draws however iam wondering if ive got something wrong when setting up my tactics that is not letting my team reach its potential.. Why so many offsides?????? any ideas???? Cheers

Who's getting caught offside? And by how much?

Whoever it is should be playing a bit deeper to avoid getting caught offside. But it might just be a result of how your team is set up to play - eg if you're getting caught offside a lot from your pacey striker trying to make runs in counterattacks but he's still scoring, will he still score if you make him play a bit deeper?
