So i have decided to put the mighty bhoys in green in the championship along with rangers.. even thou rangers will be relegated first season haha..

Any one ever done this ? is it a good save??

Or should i just drop both off in prem 1st season??

how do u think they would do if this ever happened irl i feel their championship or prem relegation level at best

prem relegation?? rangers yes celtic no.. Celtic fc have one of the biggest followings in world football not to mention the 3rd biggest stadium in britain if celtic had the money that prem league teams get with tv rights they would at least challenge the top 4 i have no doubt about that this is the reason team are scared to allow us entry..

And they have Leigh Griffiths, inexplicable FM Legend.

he'd get them promoted.

i think rangers wold just drift out of football league eventually do u think celtic could attract leading players low u look at their squad and it full of top championship players or failed prem players

Anyone have any ideas how you can implement both Celtic and Rangers into the English league system in the editor BUT keep them both in the Scottish Cup/Scottish League Cup?

Stadium size has nothing to do with how much money it can generate. Old trafford is bigger than the emirates, but the emirates makes FAR more money each match day.

This is because it is dependant on the levels of disposable income in the area. Tottenham, Arsenal, and Chelsea are in London, so they can charge ?65-100 a ticket for each game. Rangers and Celtic are in Glasgow, so the most they can charge is ?6.50-20 for a ticket. Therefore even teams like Chelsea and Tottenham who have a far smaller stadium than Newcastle will earn vastly more each matchday.

so celtic are in glasgow they can only charge ?6.50-20 on matchday? what planet u living on apart from mars?? if celtic were in prem league and there was teams like city united chelsea turning up every week they could charge a much higher fee and still sell out not to mention we have over 40k of season book holders.. what players are failed prem players or championship quality in the celtic line up? wanyama EXAMPLE sold to top 10 team for 13m, van dijk linked to all top 10 teams in prem.. foster second best english gk behind hart?? forrest linked to spurs only last year?? stadiums have alot to do with income u charge only cause u have teams like united chelsea city turning up every week thats how u get away with it u charge high prices u get the rewards with a strong fan base and a decent crowd every week, 60k every home game would generate alot of cash for celtic.. then u add on the tv funds ect.. yes celtic would attract big players if they were in the prem there a big enough club for top players to turn out for celtic only recently inesta zlatan said celtic park is the best stadium they have played in cause of the celtic fans..

argument being celtic would become a force in england FACT.. i rest my case fellow fm followers.. :)

what makes you so sure about what you say? english prem is a massive step up from scottish prem, just because you do good in scottish prem doesnt mean you'll do good in the english prem... celtic are a good side but tbh they'd struggle in english prem imo

di canio?kenny dalglish??? just a couple but lets not go there with past players the argument is the present..

my argument is IF celtic had the money that prem teams get within a few years due too marketing ect with fans ALL of the world we would be a force in england.. newcastle do NOT have the fanbase Celtic fc has world wide.. celtics fanbase is up there with utds so point being utd became a big club due to Mr ferguson expanding man uts rep world wide(geting more followers/fans). so due to succesfull marketing and prem money man utd are one of the richest clubs in the world now.

AS in the case so would celtic with the right marketing and prem cash after 8-10 years in prem league celtic would be up there challenging year in year out..

with all the money you suggest celtic will have who do u think they would be able to sign to make them challengers cause as with most half decent teams now when they think they getting a top player one of the bigger 4-6 just come in and gazump them i cant see any top player chosing celtic over spurs chelsea arsenal liverpool and the two manchester clubs. so that leaves you with trying sign the same players as newcastle everton southampton and all 3 of those clubs struggle for european football seen as a success to make europa and their all selling clubs to the big boys again

The fact is, it will never happen. However, if it were to happen Celtic would become a top 6 team in a matter of years. With Celtic's worldwide fanbase of nine million fans they have one of the most global fanbases in the world. With a 60,000 capacity stadium, we would be able to charge around 50 pound for a matchday ticket, and we have 40k season ticket holders, with around 250 pound per season ticket. With clubs like United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal showing up at Parkhead on a weekly basis we would once again fill our stadium every week. Currently, can we challenge with out current squad? No. Could we sign a player like Hazard if we were a Prem team? No. However, our global fanbase and stadium we would sit in financial hole right between City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool. We would have more money than the rest, but not as much as those 5. Hence why I said top 6 team.

Also, I just realized that no team in the Premiership has a season ticket as cheap as 250, Celtic would realistically be able to increase the price to around 450-500, and not see much or any drop in sales at all.

Currently, Celtic fans pine for competition and we simply aren't getting it. That's why on Champions League nights we always sell out, it's bound to be competitive.

thats what i was saying u will never compete with those teams and mayb spurs so your be struggling for europe each year and your only going b able to sign players on par with everton n newcastle and then your best players get poached and your bk to wear u started

As said before though if Celtic were to join the English league they would have to join at the bottom and work their way up it's the only fair way, will you sell out when you start in league 2 or whatever?!

celtic could sell out 100 thousand tkts if we were in the prem with no probs.under martin oneill we had 54000 season tkt holders and a waiting list of over 20000.to say newcastle have a bigger fanbase than celtic, your having a laugh.do you think any of the top clubs in england would have as many fans as celtic if they had to watch there team v the likes of st mirren killie etc, doubt it.

The other problem Celtic would have over top clubs is convincing top players to move to Glasgow over London/Manchester, not meant as a insult but foreign players have been known to pick london due to Wives/Girlfriends kids etc over Northern clubs, just a matter of fact

First of all, the 100 thousand tickets... no they couldn't. They have a stadium with a maximum capacity of 60,000 or so.

Secondly, Newcastle have got a bigger worldwide fanbase, according to two independent sources. The one above and the one just below. If you can provide evidence against this, feel free. If you can, I will be much more inclined to believe you.

As for the comment about the opposition celtic have... that's got nothing to do with fanbase. Celtic probably do have more passionate fans than any in England. That's irrelevant.
