Celtic have signed Middlesbrough striker Ben Hutchinson on a pre-contract agreement.

The 20-year-old has forced his way into the first-team squad at Boro this season and scored on his Premier League debut away to Manchester City.

Hutchinson has been named as a substitute for seven league games and started in the 2-1 win over Bristol City in the FA Cup third-round.

The player is likely to join Gordon Strachan's squad in the summer.

ive seen him play a few times, he tapped in to an open goal for his only goal but he looks ok , strong and fast but hes mainly done just late sub appearances so god knows what he will be like as a long term prospect. i think he will be aab and i hope so now but meh we shall see

Came with a bit of promise and did well in reserves. Didn't show much when he played for first team, apart from the tap in on his debut....
