Meh wouldnt surprise me if spurs went for him, as they only have about 36 midfielders already. he would pwn in Scotland but like GS said, they prob couldnt afford him

em, why would we play a player whos not any better than what we've already got, plus Beckhams style would fit our system, we play skilful/quick wingers that play on the opposite side to which they usually would (Nakamura on right, Maloney/McGeady on left) so that they can cut in and score

Really doubt it but if he did sign he'd be outstanding for you. The only reason he isn't getting a game with madrid is that their don't play wide midfielders, they let the full-backs do the crossing. they play with Ruud up front then 3 attacking players behind him who just roam around the front.
