Central midfielders not playing well in 4-3-3

Right. I am Man City in the year 2013. I have a 4-3-3 formation with Marquinhos, Messi and Benzema as the front three. My midfield is 2 defensive midfielders (Camacho and Diarra) and this amazing regen. Before this amazing regen (the Uruguayan Ricard Seoane) I had Aquilani playing there. Neither played well at all, despite being very very good stats wise. How do i get the most out of playmaker central midfielders in a 4-3-3 formation?

You wont! It's a bug in the game which will hopefully be resolved with the new patch.

I don't think its a bug at all. Far to often people say its a bug without knowing a thing about the tactics being used. For instance are the two DM set to direct passing is the AM/CM set as playmaker ? I had a problem playing with Gooners tactic. One of my two CM always had rubbish stats. I simply put him to switch with the other and both players stats evened out and both got into the game more. I found that the tactics were missing out my third midfielder but by allowing him more freedom and then telling him to switch positions his game improved.
So what are the player settings for your two DMs?
How much creative freedom does your third midfielder have? Allowing him more will allow him to get himself into the game.

You certainly can't write it off solely as a bug, but you can't rely on ratings for midfielders at the moment - SI acknowledge there is a problem with them being rated too low. So you do need to look at the stats of the individual players during the match to see if there is really a problem.

i think there may be a bug too..... in almost all my games with different tactics my CM rarely play well

There is a bug however everyone seems to write off every occasion as the bug, when if tactics are altered to utalise the CM in many situations the bug can be ironed out.

No mate. Good tactics will let you see in the player stats that they've had a good match, but no amount of good tactics will give your player the rating they actually deserve. So even if the CM is getting 7.5 or 8, then you can pretty much guarantee that they should have got an 8 or a 9.

i agree with zebedee

in past fm's my players used to get ratings of 10s just by scoring like 3 goals, but now my playesrs struggle to get a 10 with like 4 goals abit confusing.

not a bug i guess just players are rated abit low in games.
