Challenge: League 1 to Champions league glory within 6 seasons!

Hello chaps, I have a challenge for you!

Your challenge (as explained above) is to start off with any team in Coca-Cola League 1 and be a Champions League winner by June 2015 (end of the 6th season).


The rules are:

• Obviously no editing etc is allowed however you are free to choose any team which start in League 1 in 2009.
• Any number of leagues are allowed from any number of countries
• Your reputation can be set as 'International Footballer'
• Keep before and after screenshots of the team as well as one of your manager accomplishments (to prove you have won the trophy).
• You are can move clubs

As I cant see anyone going from League 1 to Champions League winner in 6 seasons (your better than me if you can!), I think the key to this challenge is to be careful which jobs you take - I ended up in Italy and won the CL in May 2015! I'd be interested to see where this challenge takes people!

Whats the point in cheating? no one cares what you do so you would only be cheating yourself.

can i do it with liga adelante team????????????? Because i did this with my Betis team

Nice one! I'm glad to see that people are taking this one up! To answer a few questions:

Zax_man - No a Liga Adelante team dosent count as that is the equivalent of the Championship! That would be like starting with Newcastle and getting them to the Champions League which is a bit easier. I suppose the Spanish Segunda B or Italian Serie C would be ok although I think you would be hard pressed to find a club with as much money as a Leeds or Southampton or Charlton etc!

Ben & Rugrat - Good luck with your games, let me know how you get on! I think you would do very well to do the whole thing with Southampton!

Dunc - The one I did was with Leeds but I dont think its particularly easy unless you get a massive takeover or something like that. In my game I got two consecutive promotions but I only got £20m to spend in my first season in the Premiership (needed about double that). I was then given an offer I couldnt refuse at Roma with £50m to spend per season. I had already refused Lazio, Zaragoza & Xerez.
