Champion but not promoted?!

Hi, please help me with this bizarre thing tha happened: I was playing with Kristiansund, a norwegian second division team, and the first year i was the champion, but the game didn't promote my team, but the runners-up! I thought it was just a bug, and i couldnt fix it, and played another season, when I was also the champion with a 10 points difference, but still wasn't promoted, neither was the runner-up(rosenborg 2), but the 3rd (skeid).As I can see, no "2" team (i.e.Molde 2, Start 2) can get promoted to first division either, but my team is not a "2" team, but an original one! Please help me. Thanks!

I have never played the Norwegian leagues but look at the rules for your league and see what the rule is regarding promotion

The champions of the Spanish 2B divisions aren't automatically promoted, they enter into a playoff situation with the other teams. Maybe it's similar in Norway?

After looking up Kristiansund BK [I assume you are them?] I found that they play in a 4 group system, so it could be like Jake said and you might not have gotten through the playoffs.

No, really, i am not missing anything, double checked that. It only says, top team gets promoted. And there are no playoffs in Norway, the top 4 teams from the 4-group system go up(champions), apparently if they are not a "2" team. And thing is, it tells me the "congratulations, Kristiansund BK champions" thing, the "C" is appeared next to my team's name at the league table, but it also says "skeid promoted", with a "P" next to theirs.

After a little bit of research i've found out;

Kristiansund BK, were formed in 2003 when the 2 rival clubs of the town joined together, Kristiansund FK, and Clausenegen FK.

However, Kristiansund FK, still exist and play in the fourth tier of Norwegian football, and Clausenegen are a junior team with players aged 6-19.

Perhaps with the FK team still existing the BK team can't be promoted?

I just posted an attachment screenshot of the league table. As you can see, Start 2 is relegated, this is because start 1 was relegated to norwegian first division.

Only way is to change the Norwegian rules.

I don't think you can use a save game editor like FMRTE to change it, so you would have to use the game editor to change the norwegian rules, so that reserve teams can be promoted, but that would involve starting your game all over again. :S

Look in affiliated clubs, maybe it's the B team of some other. Go there, see parent and click on it to see if your team appears in their tabs.
