Champion w/ Southampton 1st season.. Lucky or Good?

Hey fellas, i'm here to show a tactic that i created and used to unexpectedly win the BPL in the first season with Southampton. My Goal was the Champions League qualification because let's be honest, Soton's team is awesome.

Originally i had created this tactic for Sporting Portugal, and after some really good results with them i decided to give it a try with a "mid-table" team in the BPL, and Soton fitted perfectly the Formation and Roles.

The whole point of this tactic was seeing how using No playmaker would work, i just wanted to have less predictability in my passing game. My question is, is this tactic actually good, or did i have an excellent run of luck.

here it is. The tactic i used for every game in the BPL.. i had made a counter tactic, but when i got into my first away game against a strong team and won (without changing the tactic because i had forgotten to lol) i decided to play every game with it

Player Instructions.

BBM - Shoot Less Often
CM(a)- Shoot Less Often, Move Into Channels, Roam From Position
IF(a) - Shoot Less Often, Sit Narrower
W(a) - Shoot Less Often
CF(s) - Shoot Less Often

attack is good, but defense quit leaky. I try changed the GK to SK(s) since we playing with high DL here. Will give you update later.

Maybe try playing without a high line.. how fast are your CB's?

both CBs at least 15 in pace and acceleration. Btw, after latest update 15.3, the tactic stop working completely. I unable to get a single shot on target

Nah its working great for me, made a few tweaks, but so far so good, picked up a few clean sheets to boot

I have 3 version's...

The original with just the GK changed to SK s
A version with push higher up and offside trap removed, and drop deeper added, but GK remains as GK d
A version same as the original but with exploit the flanks and look for overlap added GK also changed to SK s

Set pieces also changed to my own set up, but was not added to original post.

I alternate between the 3 versions depending on the opposition, just beat Bayern 3-0 away in the CL qtr final with stoke...

Been using this for about 10 games, about 6 of those are on the new update so far kept 5 clean sheets also.
