Hey, just won back to back promotions with Portsmouth and I'm about to start my 1st season in The Championship (2015/16). I have signed a few players, including striker Callum Ball from Derby for 300k, and I'm in need of another striker to either partner Ball or play as the lone striker. I currently switch between a 4-4-2 formation and a 4-1-2-2-1 and I'm looking for a goalscorer. I have 2mil to spend, but my only problem being wages as I have a cap of 5k at the moment. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Try jhonty rhodes, Leonardo ulluo or noutha dicko. Steven fletcher can be a good choice if he is interested

Michael Doughty CM
Khaled Al-Rachidi GK
Ryan Hall AM/Winger
Leroy Lita - Str

All of the above I got on a free at the start of the 15/16 season

Also look at Chris Clements of Mansfield Cm/AM and Andreas Pereira AM on loan from Man Utd, a goal machine in championship

I am currently in 2018 season, with Mansfield last season I got a player called Benik Afobe a striker who is an absolute beast in the championship 8 goals in 20 last season in the league but had injuries, so far this season he has been injury free and has scored 13 in 15, used as a lone striker set as complete forward. He is 25 so not sure what development stage he will be at, but keep an eye on him.

@sexandviolence: How the **** do you get Khaled Al-Rashidi a work permit? For some reason he agreed a 12k/mo deal with my torquay post-promotion and his work permit was refused twice, then went on to retire as a staff prematurely.

As you don't have much wage you can try to shift that transfer budget into your wage budget

zahhh - It was not an issue for me it was accepted first time on about 5k per week, I ended up selling him to Chelsea as my two reserve keeps were ready for first team football

what is chris clements like?? i always scout him but never gambled on him!

Chris Clements is quality, he is the only player from the original Mansfield team that I still have now I am in the championship. He is ideal to play just behind a striker, or as an advance/deep lying playmaker in CM. Usually gets good ratings and chips in with a few goals and assists.
