Just wondering if anyone has ever done any charity events to raise money... any charites even if not known by alot of people..

Ill start..

Yesterday I completed a 24Hour Sport event to raise money for Comic Relief
24 different sports in 24 hours
1:30PM Thursday to 1:30PM Friday
There were 43 of us overall

gotta admit i was dead come 1:30PM Friday and i slept 15 hours last night :D

So has anyone else done something?

I once rode my bike from Bristol-Bath, followed by a 5 mile fancy dress run in aid of Help For Heroes.

I was dead tbh, running around for 5 miles dressed as Buzz Lightyear isn't easy!

I ran a half Marathon for cancer research it was from Nottingham to derby 16.5 miles

Did a walk for Diabetes UK in 200....9.

It hurt but was fun!

Would like to do more, but don't find the time/can't think of anything decent.

Would LOVE to do a marathon but i'm about 25.8miles short of that stamina at the moment.

when it's children in need, comic relief and other charities at school we always have non-uniform days

24 hour Table Tennis matches, completely ruined me but raised a lot of money :)

Going to be doing the Manchester Run to raise money for my Local Hospital, and Liverpool Women's Hospital, for the maternity wards, they done a great job of saving my fiance's and sons lives

Did a car wash with some school mates to raise money for Help the Heroes. It was dead hot too so it was relaxing and fun at the same time.. it was a good experience too, raised about £200 from it :D

omdayzzz i wud love to do that for abit anyways..

at school they call me half Chinese!

imo i think thats stereotypical :P

haha, yeah I played Table Tennis quite high up but dropped down to county this season because of an injury which has denied me from playing a lot. We had 2 tables and we had to make sure there was ALWAYS two people playing.

Just got roped into having a section of my right leg waxed by one of the 6th form girls for charity on Friday.

The things I do to catch a glimpse of some ******* :(

I really would do charity events, but my health literally restricts me, and it would quite literally kill me. But have absolutely no qualms in donating to charity whatsoever. I do feel bad when people do a lot more, but I'm pretty much stuck. I'd like to think that whatever I give benefits somebody in need, be it Africa or a charity in the UK
