Chasing a shadow, how to make an unstoppable CPU team lose?

I'm playing this save right now with City and ManU is pretty much out of this world. It's February and they have lost 1 time (to me) and drawn once. I mean that's simply breathtaking. If they keep going on this run they'll be hitting 105 points +. Right now I'm second 14 points away (4 losses and 2 draws) and if they don't start losing the title is gone for me. Is there any way to get a team to start losing? Can I put pressure on a manager? Play mind games? Have you ever seen a CPU team with these kind of stats?

My bigger question is.. How have Fulham scored 18 goals with just 2 players yet are on -15 GD?
 
Yeah, those two players scored like 80% of their goals. 25 goals for 40 goals against.
 
Everton won the league 1st season on my save losing 1 and was Utd so good luck with that.
