Cheap attacking midfielder\playmaker Newcastle 2nd season

All my carefully laid plans have been thrown out of the window

C Erickson and Yohan Cabaye have picked up serious 4 month injuries which leaves me with only 3
fit midfielders, Ruben Jensson cheick tiote and jali.
So i need a cheap midfielder re wages and fees, so far I have come up with mateo kovacic for 5 million, who would fit nicely as I dont have to leave someone out because he's 18 and doesnt have to be registered

or

I have just been offered Alex Teixeira for 5 million also and he would cost pretty much the same, is more developed and can cover more roles ie on the wing etc

Kovacic would be the one id go for purely because he did well for me. Never had Tiexeira so cant really pass any judgement.

OMG! Bought Kovacic and gave him his debut against WBA in central midfield but set to advanced playmaker, attack. 1st half just finished and he has scored and made 3 assists with a 9.4 rating!
