Cheap Defensive Midfield needed (League 1/Championship)

I need a reasonably cheap but good Defensive Midfielder for my Sheffield Wednesday team. I only have one at the moment but he's in poor form and low in condition. Any suggestions? I have 500k transfer budget with 11k wage budget.
I have all Brazil/Argentinian/Spanish/Italian/English and Russian leagues loaded if that helps.
