good result not as good as last seasons tho
Last season was a one off against Stoke, Stoke aren't a side that get beat heavily often and especially by Chelsea on the 6 occasions we have played them since they came in the Premiership the scores were 2-0, 2-1, 2-1, 2-0, 7-0 and 2-0. so if anything today was a usual Chelsea-Stoke result.
At the end of the day there was much much more positives to take from this game than the scoreline suggests. Obi Mikel looks a totaly different player from past seasons, i think the return of Essien and the signing of Ramires has really bought the best out in him. The last Premierleague goal Chelsea conceded was at White Hart Lane last season to Gareth Bale which was 6 games ago so our defence is rock solid at the moment. And anyone who says Ashley Cole isen't the best left back in the world needs there head checked he was just sensational again today and nearly scored 2 goals. Anelka looked very bright again today every time he got the ball Stoke sat off him and let him pick out passes time and time again.
After the game Carlo praised the **** out of Malouda and even said since the turn of the year he has to be one of the best players in the world and i wouldnt disagree.
