CarloAncelotti_773038.jpg

Chelsea fans stunned as their manager Carlo Ancelotti sacked after 1-3 loss to Portsmouth in the FA Cup final, and 3rd place in the Barclays Premier League after Manchester United and Arsenal.
There are some rumours of linked managers, with names like Sven Goran Erikkson, Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish, Aston Villas manager Martin O'Neill and some even say that Paolo Maldini can come from Chelseas coach to manager.

Freshest name on the list is young , only 38 years old Estonian Aleksander Algo. Hot prospect in Estonia at the end of 80's can now become famous World-wide , by gaining the right to manage the Chelsea FC.

Aleksander Algo stated as Chelseas manager !

At the press conference, Estonian states that his ready to take the challenge and lead Chelsea FC to glory !

He also says, that he has got a lot of rotations in mind, but to the question what would the changes be he only smiles and lets the next reporter to take word.

Marca : " Our research sources have let us know , that you're interested of Real Madrids center-back Ezequiel Garay. Are these claims true ?

Algo : I don't tell nothing about transfers till the transfer window has closed .

That sentence ended the press conference.

These were only few media sources who wanted an interview with Aleksander Algo.
The reason for the interviews were those enormous signings in and out.

At first Chelsea wrapped up a deal for Angel Di Maria, Argentinian international attacking midfielder who joined Chelsea from Portugal's giant Benfica for the fee of 11 mil exactly.

Then, for a big disappointment for Chelsea's fans, Anelka left the club to Chelseas Champions League rivals Barcelona for 13 mil. Almost all the fans think it was a wrong decision, but they still have a hope that Algo knows what he does, because to replacement for Anelka, Chelsea hired another big name Oscar Cardozo, who also came in from Benfica.

Isn't a great secret, that Chelsea is trying to get players like Marquinhos from Internacional, Cristian Zapata from Udinese and the youngest man on the list besides Marquinhos is 19 year old center- and right-back Kyle Walker, who's right now on loan at Sheffield Utd from Spurs.
Alexis Sanchez is also linked to Chelsea.

Welcome Oscar and Angel !

Bye Anelka!

Chelsea's fixture list for 2009/10 season is announced !

At the start, there are no "super" matches ahead, but after five Barclays games, there are 4 big matches, which can cause me loss of some points. Very good figure for the upcoming title battle has always been the Community Shield. Not a number 1 important cup but it shows who is the main contender for the title and who has to start the season as a chaser.

Chelsea - Can their new manager Aleksander Algo prove that Chelsea is ready for the season ? Do their new players worth out the money by scoring some goals ?
Chelsea has bought 6 new players including Miguel Veloso, Marquinhos, Alexis Sanchez, Cristian Zapata and of course Angel Di Maria and Oscar Cardozo. Can they prove themselves tonight ?

mu-logo.gif

Manchester United - Can Sir Alex Ferguson show again, that his one of the best managers in the world ? Is Manu squad strong enough to withstand Chelsea's big signings ?
Manchester United has signed only one player , Aleksandar Kolarov from Lazio, but they still have one of the most complete teams in the world. And of course they have much discussed Wayne Rooney, who hopefully can bang another tonight.

Injuries : Man - Ferdinand, Rafael, Van der Sar, Scholes, Obertan
Che - Zhirkov, Ferreira, Belletti

Loads of drama as ten men Manchester crash Chelsea !

Lady Luck smiled on Manchester United as they somehow managed to ****** an unlikely 5-3 penalty shoot-out victory against Chelsea.
South Korea captain Park Ji-Sung injury causing foul against Ashley Cole put ManU's chances under a question.Forward Alexis Sanchez had a chance to score from the penalty spot for The Blues but Ben Foster's save led his team to shoot-out.
In the shoot-out, it was left to striker Michael Owen to smash home the winning penalty for Manchester United.

Classy Malouda as The Blues take off for a flying start to the season

Two goals from Malouda grabbed the victory for
Chelsea over ten men Sunderland.

Winger Florent Malouda gave Chelsea the lead with a placed shot in the 21st minute. With Sunderland staring a defeat, there was controversy as Sunderland captain Loric Cana fouled Daniel Sturridge to give The Blues a penalty. Drogba had no problem in scoring from the spot.
Things went from bad to worse as Cana earned himself an early bath for second yellow on the 55th minute. Malouda completed the rout with a screamer off the box at 83th minute

Jääskeläinen in fantastic form as Chelsea draw against ten men Bolton.

Big disappointment for Chelsea fans as 27000 people watched Chelsea's 0-0 draw in Reebok Stadium.
It's like someone has put a curse on Chelsea's opponents as every 4 opponents chelsea had so far has got a red card!
Last time we could see it at Standford Bridge against Pompey, as Tal Ben Haim out for 2 games for a injury causing foul against Sturridge. Daniel will be out for 5 weeks.
At the same time in Barclays, Manchester City draw Hull and Arsenal dropped to 14th place as they lost 0-1 away to Spurs.

Despite the draw, Chelsea still rules the Premier League with 7 points, suprisers Burnley and Wolves behind Chelsea with according 7 and 6 points. Wolves can go top the league if they beat Everton tomorrow away.

Champions League Group Draw !

Before the draw every participating team's manager had to give an interview to KICK! Magazine. Here's some biggest points from Aleksander Algo's interview

Kick! : Who would you like to get from the second strength group including Inter,Real Madrid,Juventus, Cska, Sporting, Shaktar,Porto and AZ,?
Algo : As long as we wont get Real, Inter or Porto then it's alright
Kick : Who would you say, are the biggest contenders for this years title ?
Algo : I wouldn't tell anyone's name but I hope our squad is strong enough to rise the pressure on the favourites and I'll hope that when the competition progresses, I'll hope that we could name ourselves " contenders for the title" too.

Hope that you'll be mine some day...

Algo's thoughts about August

Quite a nice start to season as I won the "Boss of the month" award. We are on the top of the premier league with wins over Burnley, Portsmouth and Sunderland, but where's good there's bad so we lost two points away to Bolton, and we couldn't defend the title as Owen's decider led Man Utd to an 5-3 penalty shoot-out win in the Community Shield final.

Upcoming September

September is proboably one of the hardest months in our calendar because we have to face very classy teams with very good players and staff. At first we have face Stoke - nothing to say against their manager and of course players where we have to keep Tuncay Sanli under control as he has three goals from last three games. Then the Champions League. The main club competition in Europe kicks off for us on Russian soil against Rubin Kazan.Drawed to the group from the weakest strong group but still very dangerous in terms of their advanced playmaker Sergey Semak and the target man Alexandr Bukharov. The main challenge for us in September is of course Liverpool. Five time Champions League winner travel to London as they take on us, Chelsea. Liverpool is like an preperation for October where we have to face Man City and Arsenal in Prem. and Porto in Champions League.
Other important fixtures in Prem. are on 2nd as the red sidde of Manchester travels to London to visit Arsenal and as 6th place Aston Villa takes on 7th side Burnley

Things went even worse for Stoke as strong centre-back Robert Huth earned himself an early bath for second yellow.

Atmosphere before Chelsea game : Have to show our best display !

Even if Glen Johnson, Fabio Aurelio and Alberto Aquilani are injured they are confident about their chances today against league leaders.Their this summer's signing from Atletico Madrid - Maxi Rodriguez has found his form as he scored two in the last two games. Wednesdays 2-0 Champions League victory over Fiorentina reminded their competitors that Liverpool is still very strong side to compete for Barclays Premier League title.

chelsea_logo.jpg
Atmosphere before Liverpool game - uncertain

Last weeks 4-0 won over Wigan should have given the team confidence but now it's the other way round. Cardozo is out for 4 weeks, League cup 4th round draw brought Chelsea together with city rivals Arsenal ..... Chelsea's manager Algo has a lot of homework to do - exactly who has to think out how to stop Stanish power forward Fernando Torres who has hitted the net 10 times already through the season.Only good side is that Daniel Sturridge is recovered from his injury and is ready to play.

Chelsea fail to make home ground advantage pay against powerless Arsenal

Chelsea drew 0-0 against much injured Arsenal at Standford Bridge. Arsenal played without Arshavin, Clichy, Walcott and Van Persie but Chelsea still couldn't win. Of course Chelsea is missing some key players to like Joe Cole, Cardozo and Di Maria.

n10817572220_5680.jpg

Past Benfica pair Cardozo and Di Maria back just before game against Porto.

The goal scoreing strike force is back - Cardozo just recovered from his 5 weeks long injury and Angel from his 3 weeks injury.

Teamtalk.com :
Porto is a world class side how are you two expecting to get against them ?
Angel and Oscar : We are not saying anything exactly but we know that I (Oscar) am in the starting eleven and Angel will surely come in at some point of the game and we are both fast, we try to break through their defence, we know that we've got strong midfielders back in suport like Lampard and Essien and I've got strong attacking support from the other side, it will be Sturridge or Sanchez I guess 'cause Didier is injured and.. umm... we try to bring home the win!

Arsene Wenger : Chelsea not reaching their potential

After seeing his side draw Chelsea, Arsenal's current manager Arsene Wenger has informed his opposite number that he didn't really see any signs from the performance of Chelsea that convinced him they were destined for succes in the short
term.
He did admit that there was potential there, given the right signings in key positions, for the team to mature into one that could compete for major honors for years to come.

Who will survive in fight for Carling Cup quarter finals?
Big Match Preview

Arsenal vs. Chelsea

chelseaBADGE.jpg

Chelsea

Chelsea has got a lot of worries like injured Ashley and Joe Cole, Cardozo and Terry. Although Chelsea won 4-2 over West Ham last week doesn't mean that Chelsea's team spirit is on the top. At first the injuries. At second Chelsea hasn't been through a brilliant season. Only 4th place shows that new manager Algo isn't doing the greatest. Champions League 1-4 defeat against Porto is the best example of it.

Arsenal.jpg

Arsenal

Arsenal isn't going through a perfect season, too. 5th place in Premier League, just behind Chelsea makes them fight over every single point. They also have had big injury problems all over the season. Major players who cannot join the team for match against Chelsea are Robin Van Persie, Sagna, Gibbs and Eduardo, who injured himself in last match between these two teams, a month ago. Then the fixture ended 0-0, but now there cannot be such a result, because one team has to agree with only the fourth round of League Cup. But the winner has open doors to the quarter finals of the tournament.

Chelsea battle themselves through to the quarter finals of Carling Cup

Frank Lampard holding the ball ahead of Cesc Fabregas. First scored a decisive penalty tonight.

Chelsea could have taken the victory even in the normal time as Almunia mistaken by coming out of the box and kicking the ball away with his head. Unluckily the ball bounce right to the leg of substitute Daniel Sturridge, who lofted the just over the bar. The first extra time incident note was on the 117th minute as the referee Howard Webb denied claims of penalty by Angel Di Maria.
Chelsea may have had more possession, but their opponents worked relentlessly to win it back, covering more ground in the process.
Chelsea's left-back Yuri Zhirkov was selected to the Man of the Match.
Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger can now take his statements back, as he told to BBC Sport after 0-0 premier league result. Tactical Genius said, that Chelsea doesn't convince him. He also says that Chelsea aren't destined for success in short term

Carling Cup's quarter final draw takes Chelsea together with West Ham

When those two teams met last, Chelsea took a dominating 4-2 win. What will happen this time? Chelsea's confidence is very high, because their captain John Terry is back in form, while West Ham has to make a hard preparation for the match.

Other quarter final pairs :

Sunderland - Hull

Manchester United - Fulham
Stoke - Blackburn

Drogba is also second in average match rating competition with average rating of 7.89 behind leader Steven Gerrard, who's average is 7.94. Drogba is also one of the main contenders for "Most Times Man of the Match" competition, where he shares 1st-3rd place with Carton Cole and Steven Gerrard, all on 3 Man of the Match titles. In pass completion table, Frank Lampard holds 7th place with 83 %.

Chelsea's boss Aleksander Algo signed home place star Ats Purje on a free.

Chelsea's latest signing Ats Purje who has represented Estonian national team 18 times has arrived to Chelsea to join their reserves.

Algo : I think he's a strong addition to our reserves squad and if he develops I think he has enough potential to became an rotation to our first team or even an first team member!

Chelsea highly motivated as they destroyed Porto 5-0 at home

Chelsea had a chance yesterday evening to taste very sweet payback as they took a 5-0 won over Porto. Fans extremely happy as they walked away from the Standford Bridge stadium.

An error from Bruno Alves let in form midfielder Michael Essien to score a close range header. Striker Daniel Sturridge doubled Chelsea's lead with a powerful shot already on 13th minute.
Kalou scored a real poarcher's effort in the 21th minute to extend the lead even further. Sturridge added his second goal of the game with a placed shot on 25th minute. So we can say game was done already in first 25 minutes!
Another error from Bruno Alves let young striker Marquinhos to score the fifth after 87th minute.

Essien had an exelent game and, in addition to his goal, looked good both in the air and with the ball at his feet.
Essien had been on magnifisent for so far this season, contributing with 5 goals and 3 assists in 13 appearances.

Man in blue, Essien proved his class once and again

good story mate, what tactics are you using..? seem to concede a lot of goals.

Nice, try playing Miguel Veloso a bit more, and let him execute free-kicks , i play him as a DMC deep-lying forward , his stats are growing insanely , he even managed to steal essien's first team place in my team.
