Chelsea midfield

Hello im currently playing chelsea in second season.
Lampard turned 33 so i decided to sell him.
As you might know abrahimovic just sit on the money and wont let anything go.
So i decided to play Essien and Ramires as a pair. But they dont seem to work well really.
Who should be the Playmaker of these two.
Playing Essien as ball winning midfielder support. and Ramires as Central midfielder - attack.
Any suggestions on other roles for those two?

you need to buy a new playmaker bud, Ramires is more of a Box to Box (without long range shooting) or a Ball winner as well (Central Mid - Support) he is not that creative or attacking!

Ramires is a box 2 box and Essien is a box 2 box or ball winning mid. you already have an amazing deep lying playmaker -John obi mikel. If you only use 2 midfielders then i'd suggest you make your ml,mr or amc as playmakers (if they have 15+ passing and creativity), otherwise don't use a playmaker.
 
sell some of your other players to raise funds... what is your wage budget at? are you over or under? you can always adjust it to give you some cash, try looking at free transfers, offer them contracts and try hang on until you sign them, or you can loan someone, bring in Josh for 1st team?

request for more cash via board interaction?

Im broke as drogba also turned 33 and bought Dzeko as replacement
Cant adjust my budget anymore im afraid ;(
 
bring in your youth! Obi is a good Dm Playmaker as well, if you play 2 Cm and 1 Dm, if only 2 Cm, play Essien as Ball Winning Mid - Support and Ramires as Central Mid - Support...

how much have you spent on transfers overall? Abramovich hasnt been too stingy with me!
 
whats that in pound sterling? about £78million? who have you brought already? sorry to get off topic just curious.

interesting, u brought cheillini have you gotten rid of cole or do you rotate? how does suarez play? looking for a right winger.
 
Cole got mad after 4 matches, so i tried to sell him. AC milan bid on him, he didnt wanna change unless we payed him every month.
So i putted him into the reserves so he could choose whats best No first football or money :) guess he wanted the money :p
Suarez Well thought he could do alot better. i wouldnt suggest on a chelsea team
 
haha its always about the money! yea i have never brought Suarez for chelsea. I have brought young from aston villa at the end of first season to play as a right back but he is only so so, just had a £6.5m offer for Balotelli accepted by Man City because he is so unsettled, he has only played 14 games for them! just got to convince him to take 100k a week! let me know how you get on at the end of the season mate.
