Choosing Affiliated Clubs

The board tell me that because i've been with them for a while I can have some say in which club to affiliate with. I tell them that is something I would be interested and that someone will be in contact shortly.
But the board keep making the recommendations for me without asking me who I would like to affiliate with, so how do I actually go about choosing a club to affiliate with!!?

I think that you can only choose from the clubs they've recommended you...

This happens to me as well, it's stupid.

I want to select one yet it's exactly the same, they're just asking me which of the few options they give me I'd want the most. Urgh.

It could be a bug in the 11.3 patch, because IIRC I remember choosing feeder clubs in earlier patches.

You usually get asked what type of link you want...commercial, work permit etc then you choose from a shortlist drawn up by the board. You can't make your own suggestion unfortunately

been asking for feeder clubs at my board for ten years, the only half decent team i got in that period is bristol city. now i ask for a link to increase our reputation abroad and they let me choose between two MLS and three japanese teams. brilliant board, without a doubt -_-

Well it's not like they're going to offer you Madrid as a feeder club, they offer you low league low repuatation clubs becuase those are the ones that would realistically be interested in a link between the two.

not that i wanted a big rep club, but some (example) lower serie a teams such as lecce or bari, or medium dutch or scottish teams (VVV, Hibs or others) would be much appreciated. loans in sweden are pretty much useless, i just hope bristol city now breaks into EPL thanks my loans in order to give my youngsters an important league experience without having to play them in my team

Meh true, I've had Celtic offered to me before as Liverpool along with a few other Scottish clubs. About the best team i've had offered to me ever, usually like you say random swedish clubs or from japan.
