He is the German left back at Schalke 04, and I was having a look at him, and saw that his defensive stats aren't all that great, he has a 7 on heading, 9 on marking, and 8 on tackling. I thought maybe he would make a pretty good Attacking Midfielder, he has that attributes for it, 16 on passing, 17 on long shots, 15 on technique and even a half decent creativity rating, at 14. Do you think it would be worth the time to retrain him as an attacking midfielder or not, and just leave him as a left back?
Thanks.

Might be a useful AML, but dunno about AMC. His anticipation and off the ball are a bit low for that.

Was thinking about AML but the formation I plan on playing doesn't include wingers so may have to stick with him at left back.

But I wasn't recommending him, I was asking a question so do I still need to do that?
And what are you on about Wolfsburg?

He would be handy at LWB with three CB's so he doesnt get left up top. Wing Back Attack/Support is what I'd be inclined to put him as.

Cheers mate, will probably do that when I play against the likes of Munich and HSV, games that I can win, or could get beaten quite easily.

could maybe work as AMC but think he will be better as winger. good to use as sub if he can play in different positions.

Marcell Jansen and Konstantin Rausch are a lot better IMO, Pander has good technical stats, not for a Full Back though, decent player at most!
