My mate says he has a club and a country on his game(he doesnt lie!) Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to do it because hes not very specific.

Please help.

If you do well enough you can apply for a nations job. It's simple.

Which if your a club manager and you accept you keep your club job and get the national managers job as well

derp

to apply for a job it has to be vacant, altohugh you can declare interest in the job if the managers position is unstable

If you really wanted to do both you could just create another user and go the country you want.

I've been approached by Wales (Welsh nationality) while still a club manager in the Blue Square Premier of a Welsh club (Newport County). Tends to help if you're a nationality which doesn't have a lot of other top flight managers when the national FA starts looking for applicants.

Can make a good shortcut up the managerial ladder if you give up the day job too and do well for your nation. (In FM06 I won the world cup with Wales. Happy days :D ).

You stand a far better chance if you put your past experience as international footballer too.

I dont like doing that as its not quite cheating but its pointless as even if you do terrible at a BSP side and get sacked you can get the Man U job as your reps so good from selecting Int Player

Not much point to setting your experience to international player if you're playing a career game. With little countries a decent (relative to level) cup run and a promotion can be enough to trigger an approach from the national team. Wales in particular has very few managers of any kind of reputation should Tosh go to pastures new until some of the old international players start into management (in 06 version Giggs replaced me as Welsh manager in 2012). One way to change that a bit more is to load up the national league of the small country should you be that nationality but managing in a furrin league. Makes things a tad more realistic.

The problem with playing both club and country is that things become far more hectic and I always end up messing up both. But national jobs can be a real tedious drag between matches. The glass is never half-full :D

this is true, if im not playing my custom DB's (usually with Bishop Auckland in the BSN) i always like to start unemployed as sunday league player. Ive got a career game set-up where ive loaded all of England, Spain and Italy, currently managing Vitebese in C2B in italy (it took over 6 months to get a job like)

one think about the game could do with changing, you know my cook islands game? i put myself down as international footballer, and all the top teams are after me. I played for the Cooks ffs why would anyone want me? so i think the nationality should play a part in your reputation too.
