hey i need help with a CM baddd i have Carrick hes my best CM but hes old 32, got Fellaini but im not a big fan of him hes one of those players who are good but dont perform, got Ryan Giggs but hes old contract runs at end of season(is there a way to make him retire early? hes on 115k per week and i dont plan on playing him at all) lastly i got tom cleverley but cmon every one know he suck but hes my 1st choice rotation player i have 20 mill US Dollars, im looking into Koke but i alredy got a bid rejected od 20 mil and nani so i dont think i can get him then i got really mad when i saw Real Madrid got gundogan for only 30 mil so if anyone has any players plz let me go.

It really depends on what kind of role you want them to play, and what kind of age you want them. Do you want someone to slot straight in or someone who will need a season or two to develop?
for a cheap box to box midfielder in the second season Lucas Romero has been very good for me. I think he cost me around 4mil and he was already 3 star rated but played really well.
Victor Wanyama is a very good ball winning mid and you may be able to afford him. Mateo Kovacic is a very versatile midfielder who plays attacking mid and central mid equally well. I had him as a cam last year and he scored 17 and made 15 assists winning young player of the year, averaging 7.25. He cost me 17 million.

All of those three still have their best years ahead of them, and are very competent and able to do a job straight away. Hope this helps

I actually like fellaini, would recommend james ward prowse from Southampton, good potential

If you can get Leon Goeretzka I would. Beast of a player in my Real Madrid save and can play well in BWM BBM and CM role. Maybe keep Carrick to tutor him for a season or two

The most important questions are which position (DM, CM, AM) and what role are you looking for them to play in?

Fellaini is easily one of the best defensive midfielders (DM or CM) in the game. Your main problem with him will be yellow and red cards.

Michael Carrick is one of the best deep lying playmaker's in the game, DM or CM (for the first season at least). Him and Fellaini are excellent in the first season.

Giggs won't retire early but in the first season his is very good to have in the squad as an AMC and even MC in a playmaker role.

Tom Cleverly is also actually very good in the game as a winger or attacking midfielder (AMC).

For 20 million (USD) it will be very difficult to get any world class players like those you mentioned.

Look at buying Fernando from Porto, Claudio Yacob from West Brom (can be a ball winning midfielder or playmaker). Phil Jones will become one of the best defenders or midfielders in the game depending on which position you choose to play and train him in, I prefer CB.

thanks guys im looking into leon Goretzka and mateo kovacic i had them in fm13 and they were god like so im going to try to get them after the 1st season because there asking price for any player fist season is crazy.

also here what i did for transfers ended up sealling nani to porto for 20 mil o god that was a good deal Belfica beat me to romero sad face

goretzka or verratti....deeplaying vs advanced play....

Adnan Ahmed from Nelson must have lower leagues loaded hes 29 but a BEAST

William Carvalho picked up for 4-5m from Sporting, great box to box player good potential, not going to set the world alight but great for the money and fits nicely into the united midfield. Alongside fellaini works wonders as both know how to defend and attack when needed.

Carrick is really strong till 37. I am in 2019 and he's 38 and he has started to decline now. He starts once in 3-4 matches for me now as I prefer Ramsey and Hughes over Carrick.

You can get Verratti on a loan from PSG. 4 seasons in a row, I've had him on a loan, with a buyout option of course. Saves you a lot of money.

Verratti is really good. His attributes still needs development, but the PPM's he already posses makes up for it.

we've (Man United) reportedly signed him for ?35M IRL, so realistic aswell

I don't know how far you are in the game or what sort of player your looking for but I do know you can get Blaise Matuidi(a really good DM from PSG who's 26) at the start of the game for about 3.7 million. He was my first signing when I did a Man U save on the 14.3 patch.

Yohan Cabaye? Sergi Roberto? Andre Hoffman? Dan Crowley? Geroge Thorne? Grzegorz krychowiak? Koke? M.Dembele? Vincent Pajot?

We've been in talks for quite a while reportedly, only stumbling block was the price, which for me is exaggerated highly by a great season. He has a 38m release clause, however in honesty don't think he is worth that much as unproven in a league such as ours. But I digress, he is a good signing for the club on the game at least, well worth the money and its not a lot to spend as he will come for basically nothing.
