Right, I've been an idiot.

I basically didn't check my coaching section for 3 seasons, despite having Dan's training schedules. As a result, all my coaches have the "all" setting, meaning the training rating stars were... predictably ****.

I've remedied that and made some new signings, but still been an idiot. I thought the stars were cumulative - i.e., if you had two coaches on attacking, both with two stars each, it would be an overall 4 star rating. Of course, this isn't true, you can have just one coach and a five-star rating.

So, two questions.

Can I just have one good coach for each section? E.g Meulensteen for shooting. Or is it better to have more?

Here is my training atm -

I have way too many coaches for most things. Is terminating their contract the cheapest option in the long run? I'm starting my 4th season now, but they have contracts stretching into 2014/2015.

Also, if it's not too much hassle... some of your favourite coaches? I'm aiming to get five stars for everything sometime... :) I'm researching this through Google and stuff, so this isn't too important.

Thanks guys, I'm sure someone will be able to help. Searched but didn't find anything similar, though there are loads of threads relating to training.

yes mate, you can have one coach for each thing, but be aware of the training workload, make sure it is always light ! if you hire a very good coach, and his assigment is for eg - Set pieces, if the workload is average, hire another ! hope I helped mate !

I just have one coach for each section as the star rating is reflective purely from the best coach assigned. However, I do believe if you put more on - it lowers the 'Workload'.

Cheers guys, that's immensely helpful.

I'll go fire a few coaches now. :p

One coach on each training area is fine, but I'd ensure that your coach's workload remains on Light, or Medium at the most, to get the best out of the schedules.

A team like Barcelona, for example, has a huge squad to cater towards, and therefore 1 coach on each area of training plus someone else overseeing 'All', might drop the workload for everyone else.

I do manage Real Madrid, but I make a point of having a small squad. I'll keep an eye on the workload, thanks!
