Can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere, but does anyone know if it's possible to manually send your coaches on courses to better their qualifications this year? I thought it was possible on the last version, but I can't seem to find an option to do it on 2014. Are there any variables that affect whether or not you can send them (other than money, of course)? Cheers.

There should be an option on top - 'Send on Coaching Course'. You can select that option to send them on a course. However, the board has the final say. If there is no option, then he probably has the highest coaching credentials already (Continental Pro)

Of course there is - left click on name of coach and if its possible to send somebody for a course the option will be there.

That's what I thought, but it's not there on some coaches even though they have either no qualifications or just Continental B or A. Could this just mean they have reached their max CA? However I just signed Darren Fletcher as a player/coach and he has Continental B license, and the option to send him on a course has magically appeared. It's only there for him however, none of my other coaches.

And the variables regarding whether or not a coach is available to be sent on a course are...?

Coaches sometimes fund themselves for new coaching badges.. However, you do have the option to ask your chairman to send them on a course, he might not always agree to it but it's definitely an option.

Not sure as they are hidden - but I bet that age and current ability/ qualifications are important.

The thing is the option isn't always there. I have only seen it for one coach and that was Darren Fletcher after I asked him to start coaching and offered him a player/coach contract. It's not there even for one or two of my other coaches who don't have and aren't studying for the top license.

That's what I was thinking. Scholes has Continental A license but I don't have the option to send him on a course, do you reckon this is because he's too close to his PA despite his young age?
