The former Fulham manager Chris Coleman is expecting to accept an offer to become the next manager of Spanish side Real Sociedad.

His agent, Alan Smith, said Coleman, sacked by Fulham in April, is "enthusiastic" about the prospect of taking over the Basque club, who were relegated from La Liga earlier this month. However, Sociedad would not be drawn on the possibility of appointing him. "We cannot comment on who will be the team's next manager until after Saturday's administration council meeting," said a club spokesman.

The former Sociedad and current Wales manager, John Toshack, has been mediating with the club to bring Coleman to the Anoeta Stadium.

I'm not sure if this would be a good thing or not, if he can get Sociedad back into the first division atleast it would show everyone that he is a good manager.

Thought Toshack might have something to do with it...hopefully if he does go there he can get them promoted.

Coleman is a fair boss but is a bit boring. Good luck to him

Should do okay but im not sure if hes experianced enough to manage sociedad. They will be expecting promotion and i don't think he will know much about how the spanish play football. Good luck to him though, hope he does well.
