Just about to start my second season with Newcastle after finishing 3rd and looking for a CF (support).
I'm stuck whether it'd be better to go for a smaller more attacking-midfielder-esque player and try convert them to forward (like Gotze, but can't think of any attainable targets) or to go for a more well rounded striker like Benteke (who's just been snapped up by City).
Anyone got any experience with CF's and can shed some light on what works well? I finished 3rd in my first season so I do have a fair few realistic targets with people like Wilshere, Lamela, Moutinho and Stephen ElSh all listed as attainable.
I only got given ?10m to spend but I've just had a bid for Santon of 30m from City which I can't turn down. So willing to spend up to 20m on a good first choice CF.
