complicated editor question

Lol sorry about this- its probably got a very simple solution but even wording this question in a way that makes sense is causing me some problems.. but.. here goes..

So Im using the editor.

Ive altered the national rules of six nations creating six separate editing file thingees...

I now wish to edit the transfer preferences and time it takes to gain nationality for several nations.

So my question is this. If I make these alterations on one of the national rule files will the changes apply across the board when the game starts or do I have to make the same alterations on each individual data file in order for it to work?

Sorry if this makes no sense...if it doesnt let me know and I will attempt to re-word.. :-/

So you mean if you change 1 thing on file but you are using say 3, do you have to change the same thing on all files? I think that's what you mean. If so, I'm no genius on the editor but I think you'd have to edit all the editor data files that you plan to play with.
