It seems to me that computer clubs don't buy any new players, even when there are obvious flaws in their team, and they are underperforming. This is true even when they're swimming in cash. Man u on my game finished 8th in the first season (Ronaldo + rooney cruciate ligaments- what luck!!!), however they didn't buy anyone in the transfer window. 4 seasons later, they've only sold players, playing very old current players, like Neville, or terrible youngsters. When I added new manager to check how much cash they had, transfer budget was 150, with wage difference of 700k!

ive never really though about it, when I play, all the big clubs always seem to buy big and the little clubs always pinch the players I want!lol. so donno.

most clubs (except man city) buy 1/2 players per season...leaving them with loads of cash leftover

i find tht ferguson doesnt like to buy players on the game, while other clubs normally do buy players.

yeah but man utd are hanging about mid table every season in my game. they were 18th with 23 games gone. i was man city and i bought ronaldo off them for 70 million

Its only Man Utd really. They never really seem to invest in the market.

Although, I agree that computer teams don't buy players that they need. In my game, Chelsea sold Malouda and Kalou and were in desperate need of a right midfielder. What did they do? They bought Materazzi

The only time clubs buy generally is when they are weak in a position(and they will only buy ONE player for that position) or when they sell a player, the bring someone in to replace him.
