Hi guys, Merry Christmas to all,

A tactical discussion for all the tactical whizz kids out there.

I'm currently managing Burnley and since they don't have many tall players, I found out by watching our play that direct counter attacking didn't work for us but controlling the game did. So, I change tactics to a 4-2-3-1 control possession style. I ended up finishing the season in 15th whilst winning the Capital One Cup.

This season we've done alright, 10 games in and sitting in 12th with a game in hand, but I can't help feeling that we can do better even if this a good position for the club. We ALWAYS concede at least two clear cut chances per game. Even in the Europa League, against Ast. Tripolis, they manage to gain 2/3 CCCs but we do end up winning 3-0.

Away from home I drop the BWM to a defensive mid position, change my AMC to Advanced Playmaker Support and my striker to Complete Forward Support. In team instructions, I unselect "push higher up", select "tighter marking", remove "get stuck in", then change from Attacking to Control. I play with Flexible fluidity.

Any suggestions on how to improve the tactic would be really appreciated. Here it is, home version (Attacking Flexible):

Also, I think we've scored once/twice in a league game from a corner since I've been at the club so any set piece advice is also appreciated.

Cheers,
Aidan XD

Also, I unselect 'be more expressive'. 95% of goals come from central positions.
