Conceding early goals

Okay, I'd like to start with saying, I am probably the worst tactician in the history of Football Manager. So forgive me for my stupidity.

To the point. I often seem to concede early goals (Usually around 2-8 minutes in the game). How do I stop that?

As you can see here, I am not the best tactician. So I haven't really touched anything:

Rule 5.2 in the FIH 'Rules of Hockey' handbook states "The team scoring the most goals is the winner; if no goals are scored, or if teams score an equal number of goals, the match is drawn."

I'm assuming football would have a similarly worded ruling...?

If so, what's the problem? Brazil have been outscoring opponents effectively for years.

Do you watch the goals? If so how do they usually score.

get a DM, or have a 5 man defense.

It may be your teams morale, how you approach the game in press and team talks?

I doubt its the tactic as if it was you would concede goals at any time, not just in the beginning mate.

Not sure if this will work but set match prep to blend. It may help your players get close and may prevent this but im not so sure.
