For the past 2 seasons, I have started the season strongly, staying in the top 3 of the Premier League until around the start of December. Until this point, I have been scoring many, but at the same time conceding too many. I then go on a winless run of about 15 games, still conceding far too many. Often, I am 2 or 3 goals up by half time, and then throw the lead away in the second half. This happens with whatever tactic I try. With my current squad, I should be far higher than 13th place come March?

Why are you playing very fluid? It doesn't suit your roles. Drop it to fluid/balanced

You're very static. BBM will run into when your AP will operate and so will your IF unless you have your AP roaming. I've never used a flank target-man so I won't comment on that but generally you should have an attacking full back to create more movement. Put Corchia as attacking seen as you have an IF cutting in so Corchia will run into that space and seen as your DLP is on defend he will drop back and cover for the RB.

Attacking and pass into space? There will be no space to pass into seen as you've pushed up really high, plus shorter passing and pace into space contradicts each-other.

I'd avoid higher tempo with the shorter passing picked unless your team has very good decisions, passing and first touch.

Your squad is a decent one - nothing special imo. I'd say 8-10 is a fair reflection and you can still make that.

I adjusted my tactics as you said, again, the first half of the season I was comfortably in the top 4, I get to mid December and now I'm on 8 game losing streak. Same tactics, same players? What's going on?!
