Conceding Too Many Goals! Help

Ok firstly i now about the defence thread on using a man-marking defender and zonal defender and included this into my tactic. the problem is that i tend to concede alot of goals but score alot aswell thankfully. any help would be appreciated here my tactic

4-2-4 is a very, very attacking way to play the game. You'll not hold possession in midfield and so your very style of play is almost guaranteed to result in goals at both ends.

4-2-4 is only advised if you have a mighty attack where you are capable of scoring 4-5 goals a game. I had a tactic in FM09 where I had a 4-2-4 but put one of the CM's at DM and play him in an Anchorman Role and it worked a treat. This was before I joined the site, so I never uploaded it.

Just keep your back 4 and a cm as a defensive role. And try zonal marking in the lower leagues, i fount it more effective. Also try and keep the same back four, tactics and look for the players more in form
