I've noticed quite a few players with really good stats, but then really low concentration. How important is a players concentration stats?

Sorry, what were you saying. (6)

I would say concentration is pretty imporant for your defenders and Goalkeepers. Im sure its pretty straight forward isn't it ?

You dont want your players to switch off for 90 minutes. Low concentration means they are prone to switching off and missing a tackle or letting a through ball pass them by etc etc.

Look at top defenders and their concentration stat and I can almost guarentee it wont be lacking.

no need to be sarcastic bud, his sentence made complete sence!

concentration is quite vital esepcially for Goalkeepers, defenders and defensive mids, the rest of the area's (especially wingers/strikers) are not that affected by the lack of concentration...

Yeah sorry I was thinking more attacking players. Would it just mean midfielders giving the ball away and strikers not hitting the target or anticipating a pass etc? I've had Balotelli for years now and he's scored me a lot of goals. But I've noticed his concentration has gone right down and he's not been playing as well, but the rest of his stats are still quite high. So I was thinking that concentration must make quite a difference.

He wasn't sarcastic. He made a joke acting like he had problems with concentration himself :)

in order to increase Concentration (especially for strikers or attacking players) you need to have them training in at least 5 clicks of Defending and having a really good Mental coach covering all departments makes a big difference too

the reason why he has dropped is you either dont have him training at all on defending or not enough

thanks Mads, I got it now :) so used to people slating members before helping.. old dog syndrome... :)
