Hi,

I'm Blackburn, and even though I have a 100,000 seater stadium, I am losing between 2 and 5 million a month. I'm in the Champions League, always in the top four, and my wage bill is only 1 million a week. So why am I losing so much?

My initial guess would be that I'm losing money because my average ticket and season ticket prices are £25.70 and £237 respectively. But I'd appreciate if anyone could give me any feedback, advice or whatever.

Thanks in advance.

wow cud u put screenie of ur blaclburn squad on never seen anyone get them in champs league

Blackburn 100,000 seater stadium either you have done well or there is some editing going on.

Yeah, I've pretty much got through it by signing free transfers and immediately selling them.

I've posted two screenshots of the finances... couldn't fit it all on because of the game's scroll bar, but the only things missing from the screenshots are:

Expenditure for previous season:
Tax - £27m
Other - £9m
Match Day Expenses: £13m
Renewal Signing On Fees - £5m
Total - £297m

Income for previous season totalled £288m

Anyone have any feedback on where I'm going wrong?

The only editing I did was to change the amount of seating I could extend to before the council wouldn't let me build further... I just bought mostly free transfers and transfer listed players, then sold them for a profit or played them until their value increased before selling them. Then pestered the board to extend the stadium each season.

i don't get how your expenditure adds up to 297m... and could you post up a screen shot of your transfer history?

i think while you were editing, you messed some **** up. just dont edit and these ***** won't happen!

Yeah, sure. Again, I couldn't fit it all on. The other two sales I couldn't fit on are loan deals, and the total received from transfers amounts to £127m.

I don't think it has anything to do with editing because it was a similar case when I managed Bolton (although the problem there was that I couldn't expand beyond 35,000 seats).

By the way, my team reputation is Continental (not sure how to get it to worldwide), and the estimated value is £292m.

Veloso cost about £2m when he was about 30yr old, had him for two seasons then didn't want to renew his 75k a week wages. Nani I signed for about £5m, Guilherme and Akinfeev on bosmans, and Weiss for about £3m (he was in Man City's reserves).

I'm beginning to think the reason I'm losing money is due to the ticket prices... they don't increase enough as the team's reputation increases. I've just checked the editor to compare the original prices and they have increased... but only by about 10% over ten seasons!
