Contract Expiring.

Basically i have a player that is unhappy he isnt being offered a new contract, i go to talk to him and all he wants to talk about is why i havent offered him a new one, yet when i go to offer it, he says hes leaving on a free in the summer. Literally have no idea how i can get round this, as he clearly wants a new one but at the same time he doesn't, no clue how to fix this, is there a way?

Unfortunately... no. The player has decided it has taken you too long. Maybe in a few weeks chat to him again and see if you can get back on good terms and maybe he will negotiate a contract. But ATM no, need to wait him out. Who is it as a matter pf interest?
