Contract extension

I'm playing Monaco, and my memphis depay is playing his 2nd season. The contract has 5 more years, but he asked for an improved contract (which is reasonable as he played well and his current contract is cheap). However when I go to make a new offer, his agent said he's not interested, while he constantly require it. is this a bug, or he's just trying to make a reason to leave?

his contract has 5 years left and that's the most years that you can offer. Wait for another season and then you can do it.

If he is also 'slightly concerned' then he won't talk to you as 'he's currently unhappy at the club'.
