Hi,

my contract expires at the end of the season and I am hesitating to sign a new one, as I hope that bigger clubs will be interested in me.
Will those interested clubs now offer me a contract for next season?
I don't want to leave earlier and just wonder if it's possible to do it like that.
Do I have to apply for the job or could it happen, that they still have a manager who intents to leave in summer and I get the job?

Regards
Goll

If you have a high reputation, big clubs will usually try to sign you up.

That means their current manager will be sacked, as I am available?
And I can start in the next season(want to finish this one)?

If they offer a contract during a season, you can select an option to delay until the end of the current season, but it is up to the team to accept the delay or not. My only experience was successful, but was a short delay at the end of the season - Real Madrid offered me a contract at Spurs, but I delayed for a week so I could win the Champions League final first.

Sometimes ive found if teams offer you a job after january, in the contract negotiations screen u can select join at end of season instead of immediately.

Yes, I was at Inter Milan but wasn't enjoying managing in Italy. Liverpool are 14th in the league in 2014 and I signed for them straight away but had the chance to go at the end of season.
