Convince a player to join your National team instead of another.

Just wondering if you guys knew if it was possible to change a player's mind about the national team he wants to play for. I'm currently managing Inter Milan and signed Thiago from Barcelona in the summer and he is eligible to play for Italy, I am also Italy manager and really want him to play for Italy instead of Spain because his stats are rising at an impressive rate.

Yeah it does say he would prefer Spain, just wondering if there was any way of getting around that haha.

Try calling him up as much as you can. If he doesn't get a call-up for Spain he may take one from Italy. And if he does get called up for Spain for some friendly, withdraw him from the squad and try to call him up yourself.
