First of all I don't want the corner bug, or actually any other already made configuration for attacking corners. I just want some advice to modify my configuration because in the beginning of the save I scored around 20 goals per season from corners, and now I think that I score half as many.
My current configuration is:
The better (header, jumping) CB - attack near post
The other CB - attack far post
Target man - Challenge keeper
Small forward (not that small though) - attack ball from deep
Winger 1 (better in headers) - go forward
Winger 2 - short option/ stay back (if playing against stronger team)
CMs - lurk outside area (one of them is taking the corner kick)
fullbacks- stay back
Corner instructions: mixed
Can you suggest small changes to modify this configuration in order to be a little bit more effective (for example I feel like the "go forward" instruction of the winger is not enough although he scores from time to time mostly on rebounds)?
And the defensive configuration is probably the one that I understand the least. I have my CBs and my target man set to mark tall player. The fullbacks are on the posts. The stronger (defensive) CM is set to man mark, the other CM is set to go back, and the wingers + the fast striker are set to stay forward. Again, it's not that bad, I concede maximum 10 ( i think) goals from corners in a season, but it happens, and it happens in important moments sometimes. What changes should I made to modify this in order to e more effective... because sometimes one of my CBs gets dragged to the edge of the area because one of their tallest player is set to lurk outside it... I don't need my CB there... is there a way to prevent this?
