Hee guys. Wanted to ask you in what way you change your mentality before playing home or away games? And do you only use counter attack in away matches? in all average away matches? etc.
I'm struggling to get some good away results but the game won't let me...

you only use counter-attacking against teams that are clear favourites to beat you :)

but like when I play away and I wanna win with like 0-1 and don't wanna give goals away. Even though I'm slightly in favour, i shouldn't use counter attack?

yep dont use..

when you play weaker teams they would tend to use counter not you.

yeah I get that, but I'm Dortmund now and a lot of teams are equal strenth, just a bit better or just a bit worse. I often use it for away matches but I'll try not to for some time

but then in away matches what mentality do you play?

I play exactly the same the only difference is move the mentality a slighty down a bit

but on home matches i put the mentality on attacking since im at home every1 will be demanding a win :)

In LLM I always counter attack and have a perfect formation to go with it :
4-1-3-2
Have DC's running back, DR, DL, MR, ML running forward. Its a great formation and you score plenty of goals from counter attacks!

ok thanks for that info!
then another one. What do you do when you're playing home (or away) against a better team, youre winning 1-0, you have taken the pressure off with the first team speech, what do you say at half time? I always score some goals in the first half against those teams but I always seem to lose it in the second...

oh i just did win by saying 'for the fans' during half time

hehe no thanks got it all sorted out. just wondered how you guys were doing this. though i figure with certain squads it's never wise to play defensive, even if you're playing against a better opponent (which rarely happens). I'm with Barca in 2031, and Real Madrid (as usual) have got a quite impressive squad. When I play them defensive I never seem to get a win. Attacking minded works way better for me. Same with teams who are worse then mine. So I figured I will never really change my mentality.
And it was meant for team mentality only because player mentality is shifted once in a while, just depends on how you want to play.
So i don't need no help no more, but thanks

Yeah, if you play defensive with a deep d-line you just encourage them to come on to you. If they are a good team , more often than not, they will score.

If you spring a 'tactical surprise' and go attacking, they will not be expecting it so it gives you a good chance of an early goal.
