So I managed to win League 1 by 3pts with Coventry in my 1st season and now that I'm in the Championship I need to vastly improve my team. I have a transfer budget of ?1mil and a wage budget of ?10k.

Does anyone know of any good strikers or wingers I can actually afford and perform at a Championship level? Preferably HG but it doesn't matter that much.

P.S. I'm playing on the 14.3 update.
 
I've just started a Coventry save and I'm 3 months in just wondering what good free agents or loanees u had in ur first season?
 
Well I only bought in 2 players due to the limited finances you start of with. A striker called Jorge Galan and a winger called Juanma.

Managed to win the league by 3pts first time around playing a 4-2-3-1. Juanma was amazing and became a favoured personal with the fans along with myself. Whatever happens do not sell John Fleck, I played him as a BBM and he worked wonders.
 
Yeah they should be, but that is at the start of the season, since you're 3 months in they may of signed for someone already.
 
who did you guys sign in your first season? thinking of starting a coventry game.

I'd love to know how you got a ?1mill budget. I got Coventry promoted in second place but have had absolutely no movement for transfers whatsoever. Got a couple of loanees in first season but my wage budget has gone down and I have no transfer budget second season. I can't even get any loans in as I can't offer any form of contribution, absolute shambles! Did you get taken over?

Yep, a consortium led my former Chelsea man Peter Kenyon took over the club at the end of the first season, the club were still financially insecure but they pumped in a little bit more money. I also sold Wilson to Bournemouth for 5m, so that raised some funds for me.
