Hi, I was playing this game yesterday, only had it since last week, and was just browsing through player's who I could buy maybe, and all of a sudden I got an error saying the application had to close, and a crash dump file or something like that had been created in a certain place, which I later found, in the Football Manager 2009 folder. I ahve a good PC, 3.6GHZ, 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD, decent 512MB X1900XT Graphics card, that has been OK with me for nearly a year now, so I don't know any reason why that should happen. I did install a well know mega facepack found on here yesterday, that one with about 19000 players' faces, and then clubs logos etc, that seemed to be the highest rated or most commented on this website, so unless anyone else has had a similar problem with that download, and I'm 99% sure that I applied it correctly, then how come i get this dump error. I haven't been on the game since then, as it would be too annoying for it too crash again before I got chance to save it, which is what happened yesterday, where I hadn't saved it since playing a match and signing a couple of players, etc.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and I'll keep you updated and reply to any help you can give me on how to sort this problem out so it never happens again.

FM 09 hasnt been one of the most stable games

Report this on the SI forums, especailly if it repeats at the same point

What's the fix for this I need to know. Do I just get rid of the facepacks or what? Or is my game messed up forever, and would I have to get rid of my game saves, etc. This game is seriously messed up, I preferred the older versions to be honest, never had a problem like this before....

Had any news why it could be doing this yet? Please tell em, can't be my PC which can run Crysis and Far Cry 2 at high graphics etc fine, so why is this dump thing happening? I'm starting to think I wasted £20 of my money.

I have. but nodody really knows there either..... I'd like to play this game more, but obviously can't, this can't be my PC which runs Crysis, Far Cry 2 and COD 5 on high settings fine, and I'm pretty good on the computer but no idea what has happened here.
