Creating an NFL style system

Looking to create a NFL Style System in Australia. 4 divisions of 8 with the top 2 going through to a knockout round with a grand final. Ive had a look around youtube and can't find anything to help me out with this. Ive got that i need to create a competition for regular season and finals series but the exacts of it are lost on me. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Might be easier to ask there, or have a look for a user called Wiery on here, he amends the oz leagues every year
